Julia recently completed a two year tour of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The Sound Of Music!  The NEW national tour, directed by the inimitable, Jack O’Brien, played 60 cities across North America.  Traversing the country while sharing this timely story was a great honor for Julia.  Playing the fun-loving Sister Margaretta in the company of this outstanding cast was a career highlight!

“Perhaps the most unexpectedly moving aspect of the production is its loving portrayal of the nuns, who rather than the slightly comical figures of the movie seem here to be the steady moral center of the world, deep in their dark cloister, quietly protecting the needy and smiling on love. Watching them dress Maria in her wedding dress (a knockout by costume designer Jane Greenwood) made me wish faith could be a source of comfort in our world, instead of the excuse for hate it all too frequently becomes.”

REVIEWS:
”Ms. Osborne has her highlight with a moving solo of ‘Someone To Watch Over Me,’ expressing naked vulnerability and longing.” FASCINATIN’ GERSHWIN @ Florida Rep
- FloridaWeekly.com

“Julia Osborne’s Eliza was enchanting and not just beautifully sung, but beautifully acted."
- Lost in the 21st Century.com MY FAIR LADY @ Triad Stage

"Osborne, in her Triad Stage debut, is positively luminous as Eliza, both in spirit and voice, and is a welcome respite from the caterwauling Elizas you might have seen elsewhere. It has been said that the test of any My Fair Lady is whether the unlikely romance between two such different characters is believable. Osborne brings a bit of maturity to Eliza that is lacking, say, in the Harrison-Hepburn movie pairing. You almost believe this romance could happen, yet the ambiguity remains."
-Classical Voice Of North Carolina MY FAIR LADY @Triad Stage

“The leads are all spectacular - Osborne is completely winning as Eliza”
